Are you ready?? We have some very exciting news to share with you all… We are delighted to announce that our Ginger Hot Pepper and Apple & Sage jellies will be available in Aldi stores across the nation from the 23rd of August.
Harty’s was selected as one of 38 Irish suppliers to join the Grow with Aldi programme at the end of this month when 71 home-grown products will be launched in Aldi stores. Grow with Aldi is a supplier development programme run by Aldi in association with Bord Bia, and we are so excited to be working with Aldi and the many other fantastic Irish food businesses.
We greatly appreciate Aldi’s continued efforts to support local Irish producers. Reaching customers around the country is the biggest struggle for small to medium sized suppliers, so to have the support of Aldi is a massive boost for Harty’s and many other Irish producers.
To celebrate this exciting news, we are running a competition for a voucher for Aldi so you can pop in on the 23rd and grab your favourite jelly – check out our Facebook page and Instagram for details … and see you in Aldi on the 23rd!

In other news, we had a great month in July at Harty’s, travelling all over the country bringing you the best of our jellies. We had a great week working with Millini Music in Cork for their inaugural week of immersion in traditional Irish music and culture. Harty’s provided a ‘Taste of Ireland’ menu which was served using local produce accompanied by our jellies.
Bringing us into August – this summer is flying by so quickly – we visited Clonmany Agricultural Show on the 7th of August in Donegal. Celebrating its 51st edition, the show was held on the beautiful grounds of Ballyliffin Golf course. where the Irish open was held recently. Chefs Nevin Maguire and Brian McDermott were keeping it local with cooking demos but we managed to wrangle some representation for Kerry with the chefs using our products in their dishes.
The 8th annual Taste of Cavan was next on the calendar, on the 10th and 11th ofAugust. As always, there was an impressive array of Irish chefs and suppliers from all across the country. It’s always a great opportunity for us to meet up with new and old friends, both customers and fellow suppliers alike, and it was a thoroughly enjoyable weekend.
Our next event brings us closer to home, with the Rose of Tralee International Festival kicking off from the 17th to the 21st of August. It’s always a jam-packed line-up at this festival with the Rose Selection, live music, food festival and events for all the family. Harty’s will be amongst the revellers bringing you our jellies, alongside many other local and Irish producers.
Finally, Taste of Donegal from the 24th to 26th of August brings us back up the country to Donegal town to finish out our summer programme of festivals. With cooking demos, gin cocktail and craft beer masterclasses – this is set to be a really amazing foodie event. Can’t wait to see you there!
