Spring 2018 at Harty’s

As we began to thaw out from the ‘Big Snow’ at the beginning of March, our season of markets and events also kicked off. January and February are busy months for us here at Harty’s, ordering supplies and restocking the shelves after the Christmas rush. Come the Spring, and we’re back on the road, meeting with our supporters and customers – this is really our favourite part.

We were in Manor West Shopping Centre in Tralee on the 31st, our first market of the year. There’s always a great turn out at Manor, many familiar faces, and a wonderful atmosphere with the other market stall holders.

We then headed to Mallow for Easter Sunday at the annual Mallow Racing Home Easter Festival. We love going to this festival every year, the town is a hive of activity, overrun with events and activities for children and families, and rows and rows of market stalls selling all sorts of tasty foods and wonderful hand-crafted products, and, of course, the races themselves.

In-store tasting sessions are another vital component of Harty’s yearly activities – travelling around to the various supermarkets in Munster that are key supporters of Harty’s products and having the chance to meet and chat to our loyal and valued customers.

So far this Spring we’ve held tasting sessions in Garvey’s Supervalu in Castleisland and Listowel, Daly’s Supervalu in Killarney and Cahill’s Supervalu in Ballybunion. We would like to say a massive thank you to the Supervalu shops for their continued support of Harty’s products. Keep an eye out for us as we travel around to other supermarkets in the next coming weeks.

If you can’t make it to the shops, don’t forget we have an Online Shop on the website for convenient purchases of all your favourite Harty’s products.

As well as that, check out the website and our social media, Instagram and Facebook, for new and exciting recipes with Harty’s products – updated every few weeks and whenever inspiration hits us! If you have any suggestions for us on how you use Harty’s savoury jellies, then send us the recipe or a picture and we’ll share it online.
